No motivation for a full-on workout? No worries. With all that’s going on in the world right now, it’s perfectly fine (more than OK actually) to cut yourself some slack, especially when it comes to your fitness efforts while we’re all adjusting to at-home-only workouts. Be easy on yourself and take baby steps to ease into this new normal. Today we decided to highlight one simple move you can do (in your living room) to still feel like you’re getting a mini workout in for the day. Below, our in-house trainer, Amanda Lee, is showing how to do 30-second hip dips for a tighter and toned core.
How to: Start in a low plank position with your body in a straight line, elbows bent and under your shoulders and feet hip-width apart. Rotate your hips to the right and dip your body almost to the floor. Return to the starting position and repeat on the left side.
Keep alternating sides for 30 seconds.
