Feeling bloated, gassy, and overall blah? Body Whisperer Lauren Roxburgh has just the routine to help, and she created a video so we can all follow along.
“We’re going to use the Body Sphere [her signature squishy ball] to do a gorgeous massage for your organs to help improve your digestion, release any negative energy in the gut area, and help you tune into your gut instincts more,” she says.
The routine involves using said squishy ball to massage the digestive organs, which can help move along any gasses and blockages in the gut. Plus, it stimulates the vagus nerve, “which brings you into more of a calm state,” Lauren explains. She adds that it can also help improve PMS, increase nutrient absorption, and flush out toxins.
“Rest, digest, and heal, and you’ll wake up in the morning with a flat belly,” she says.
The key: Go slow, and if you feel like you’re going to burp, don’t hold it in. “It’s totally normal. Don’t worry, don’t be shy. Let it out,” she says.
