Cauliflower? Steaks?
What sounds like an oxymoron is actually a delicious, hearty, super healthy take on a classic mix of flavors. Khloé brilliantly slices full-length sections of cauliflower for a meaty, substantial hunk of cruciferous fiber, browns it, and bathes it in all the perfection that is cacio e pepe.

Khloé Kardashian’s Cacio e Pepe Cauliflower Steak

Ingredients:
2 heads of cauliflower, sliced into 1-inch steaks
3 tablespoons ghee
1/2 to 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
1/2 cup freshly grated pecorino cheese, plus extra for sprinkling
Sea salt to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 425° F.
2. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ghee, and swirl it around the pan.
3. Add the cauliflower steaks to the skillet.
4. Sear on both sides until golden but still al dente.
5. Transfer to a baking sheet, and sprinkle with pecorino, black pepper, and sea salt.
6. Roast in the top third of the oven until the cheese is melted and starting to brown on the edges, about 40 minutes.
*If you’d like to go above and beyond (and we really recommend you do), steam the extra florets that fell off when slicing the cauliflower, place in a blender with salt, pepper, cream and/or butter, and a sprinkle of garlic powder. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Then place a few spoonfuls on a plate, top with cauli steak, and sprinkle with more pecorino and black pepper. Yes, chef.
