Looking for an at-home and festive drink? Kendall’s mulled wine recipe is the perfect holiday option to sip on. The cozy (and boozy) drink is great for sitting by the fire, watching one of Kourt’s favorite Christmas movies, or enjoying while on a family Zoom. It’s basically the winter version of sangria but mixed with a red vino of your choice, cinnamon, oranges, and lots of honey (per Kendall’s liking). Follow the step-by-step instructions on how to make the delicious recipe below.
Kendall's Mulled Wine Recipe

Serving Size:4-6 servings
Prep Time:5 minutes

Total Time:25 minutes
1 bottle of your favorite dry red wine
2-3 fresh oranges, sliced
3 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise
5 tablespoons honey
Dash extra liqueur (optional)
Your favorite garnishes
1) Stir all ingredients together on the stove.
2) Let the wine heat until it reaches a low simmer on medium-high heat. Next, reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and let the beverage simmer for a minimum of 15 minutes; however, you can heat for up to 3 hours.
3) Strain the wine of all ingredients, and after you taste it, add extra sweetener if you’d like. Kendall likes to use extra honey.
4) Serve and top with preferred garnishes.
