Finding an eye cream that seriously hydrates yet doesn’t cause milia or greasy eyelids all while actually being effective at firming, smoothing, and reducing dark circles is no small feat (IYKYK). The cream needs to be the right consistency—not too thick yet not too light. It needs to have a medley of moisturizing ingredients—but not be super heavy like the ones we use on the rest of our face. And, of course, it has to actually do what is intended: make us look bright-eyed and well slept (duh).
We are huge fans of eye cream over here at Poosh, so when Kim’s SKKN launched its peptide eye cream, we obviously had to try it. The description sprinkles in some of our favorite buzzwords: lightweight, plumping, younger-looking skin—but could it live up to the hype?
It sure could. In a word, the SKKN eye cream is perfection. It hits the right balance of cream and serum in a lightweight consistency that doesn’t cause milia or slick lids (which is obviously not the vibe if you like to wear eye makeup). Peptides and hyaluronic acid hydrate yet absorb rather quickly, making it an ideal pre-makeup base (meaning your shadow will actually stay on and not slide off). But the thing that really makes this product unique is that it actually helps to lighten the appearance of dark circles, soften fine lines, and give the delicate eye area a lit-from-within glow. Didn’t sleep the required eight hours? SKKN to the rescue. Seriously, this multitasker has found permanent residence on our top shelf. Did we mention it gives good shelf appeal, too?
Just look at that packaging…a literal work of art.
SEE for yourself (see what we did there?).
