A smoothie that enhances things in the bedroom (or wherever you decide to play) … we’re all ears. We teamed up with Nikki Elisheva of My Sweet Belly to share her recipe for an aphrodisiac maca blend. “So what makes this smoothie an aphrodisiac? Let’s start with maca powder, which can balance hormones, improve mood, and boost libido/stamina (of all forms), and has a caramelly, earthy flavor. Next, cacao nibs are made from crushed cocoa beans and are a tasty superfood packed with antioxidants and aphrodisiac properties. They also boost metabolism. The combination of the maca and cacao, along with fresh fruits, makes for a healthy increase of energy,” Nikki shares.

Aphrodisiac Maca Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen berries
2 cups almond milk (unsweetened vanilla)
1 teaspoon maca powder
1/2 teaspoon cacao nibs
Handful of ice
1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Instructions:
1. Add liquids then frozen ingredients to a small blender. Blend until smooth.
2. Sprinkle with cacao nibs and shredded coconut. Sip all morning.
