Once a week (or once a month!), whatever floats your boat, schedule in 30 minutes to unwind and nourish your body with this simple winter DIY treatment. Find everything you’ll need for the setup below.
The benefits? First and most importantly, designated “me time” away for your phone (hopefully). Plus, the healing combo of Epsom salt, coconut oil, and lavender drops help to balance pH levels, remove toxins from your body, and alleviate soreness (aka: built-up tension from accidentally working from your couch—wait, let’s be real, bed—all day). This is optional, but you can also place a black tourmaline crystal in the middle of the tub to help clear your energy and protect against negativity.
During the soak, use these mitts to exfoliate your skin (it’s how Kourt keeps her skin so smooth). What you’ll need:
⅓ cup coconut oil
10-12 lavender oil drops
1 cup Epsom salt
Black tourmaline crystal *optional
Add all ingredients to the bath, place crystal of choice in the middle of the tub, and enjoy a relaxing soak for 20-25 minutes (don’t forget to exfoliate during the soak session).
