Frown lines, the 11s, forehead wrinkles. We all get them … eventually. But luckily, the power of skincare tools can help diminish how deep the fine lines appear on your beautiful face. Yes, Botox is an option (and to each their own if you prefer to go that route), but if you’re looking for at-home ways to lessen the look of those lines between your brows, we’ve got the tools and tutorial for you.
Ahead we’re sharing three ways to tighten your 11s and reverse frown lines caused by facial expressions, years of squinting in the sun, and simply aging. Read on to learn and shop the tools to add to your skincare routine.
1. Microcurrent facial toning
Using the NuFace device with the ELE attachment, you can tighten and tone the delicate area of the skin. Apply the primer gel in between your brows then select your preferred level on the device (we recommend starting at two then increasing from there), hold the device until it beeps, and then slightly move it up until you’ve covered all areas of your frown lines. Do this for five minutes every day to see the best results. You can use the same attachment for lines around your mouth as well.
Start by applying a face oil or serum, then use a clean gua sha tool to release toxins and smooth fine lines. If you need a refresher on how to properly gua sha, follow this tutorial. When practiced regularly and done correctly, the practice promotes better circulation, healthier skin tissue, and stronger facial muscles, as well as reduces puffiness, lessens the appearance of lines, and improves skin texture and elasticity. With this type of shift in your skin, you will have a more youthful, toned complexion with a natural glow.
Apply your choice of face oil or serum. Then using the smaller cups in the set, squeeze them and slide the cups out toward the end of your brows. You should hear the cups “pop” or the suction release when you reach your temples (or end of your brows). It’s recommended to do it three times a week for best results.
