ICYMI, Penelope had the most perfect pink 10th birthday party—and she and Kourt planned it all. “A dreamy 10th birthday for my dream daughter,” Kourt shared with us. “I love letting my kids lead the way when it comes to celebrating their birthdays. We make a Pinterest board together where she tells me all of her ideas and I help her bring them to life.”
The birthday girl wanted the theme to be aesthetic pastel pink, and after gathering inspiration she and Kourt set out to bring the vision to life in their backyard. The end result was a whimsical pink dreamland with details like matching PJs and fuzzy slippers, inflatable hearts, an outdoor movie, and ofc, plenty of rainbow sprinkles. We got all the homemade bday party details from the ~aesthetic~ queen below.
You can’t have a party without balloons—Penelope chose sustainable, biodegradable balloons in the shape of pink hearts. Other special touches included heart-shaped floaties from Funboy and lots of pink roses.
After the sun went down, Universal screened Minions: The Rise Of Gru on an outdoor movie screen from FunFlicks. The heart-shaped floaties were filled with blankets and pillows and put in front of the screen so everyone could snuggle up.
Arsineh Hoonanian of Little Artist Party brought a station for Penelope and her friends to create their own slime.
The matching outfits
Penelope and her friends kept cozy in matching PJs from Little Pajama Co. and fluffy pink Ugg slippers.
Highlights from Chef K’s menu included the cutest vegan and gluten-free heart-shaped grilled cheeses served with marinara sauce for dipping, burgers in heart-stamped boxes, Caesar salad, broccoli and noodles, and cheesy sticks.
A heart-shaped cookie cake from Chef K and a circle cake with a smiley face and rainbow sprinkles from Hansens.
