How to Have the Perfect Movie Night

In celebration of Paramount’s new movie Like a Boss, featuring Rose Byrne, Tiffany Haddish, Salma Hayek, and Billy Porter, the Poosh team hosted an intimate screening at Kourt’s house for her friends and family to view the film before it’s out in theaters on January 10. With the help of Mindy Weiss, we transformed Kourt’s backyard into a dreamy outdoor theater for our first movie night. Guests (including Kim, Khloé, and Kris plus close friends like Steph Shep and Malika and Khadijah) arrived and changed into Barefoot Dreams Cozychic Hoodies and matching Cozychic Pants.

We had a delicious soup and bite-size sandwich bar, eight different sweet treats from Sugar Factory, and of course, popcorn to munch on throughout the night. In a true seasonal manner, we served Johnnie Walker Black Hot Toddies, Baileys Spiked Hot Cocoa and Coffee, and Hampton Water Rosé for our vino drinkers.

Golden Globes nominee, Billy Porter, kicked off the night by introducing the film and sharing a special clip from Tiffany Haddish. The movie truly had everyone belly-laughing within the first few minutes. Without giving too much away, Rose and Tiffany’s characters play BFFs who start a cosmetic company together. It’s a hysterical, raunchy, and charming comedy that highlights female empowerment and working with friends. You can watch the full trailer below.
