While we enjoy a classic PB&J as much as the next person, we’re all for elevating our lifestyle (breakfast options included). This is why we’re giving you a reason to update the traditional toast combo for something a bit more exciting. 

Meet the latest morning recipe we’re eating on repeat. The key ingredient?Harmless Harvest’s Dairy-Free Cup Yogurt Alternative. We already shared how to use the plant-based yogurt alternative—made from hand-scooped, organic young Thai coconut meat and pureed until perfectly smooth—to make the easiest breakfast bowl, and now we’re highlighting how to use it on toast. 

But first, a little more about the brand. All Harmless Harvest yogurts are plant-based, dairy-free, soy-free, vegan, and naturally cultured with seven live and active yogurt strains. As part of their waste-less initiative, they use the same coconuts from which they extract their coconut water. Plus, from seed to shelf, Harmless Harvest is dedicated to fair and sustainable practices, so you can see why the brand earned the Poosh stamp of approval. 

Back to the toast that we can’t get enough of. It’s super simple with a spread of almond butter, a layer of Harmless Harvest Dairy-Free Cup Yogurt Alternative, your choice of sliced fruit (we like to top ours with organic strawberries), and, for a nice crunch, add granola and hemp seeds. Oh, and don’t forget chocolate-covered goji berries for a chewy and sweet touch.

Simple Summer Toast With Dairy-Free Yogurt

Ingredients:

Gluten-free bread
1 cup of Harmless Harvest Dairy-Free Cup Yogurt Alternative
Almond butter
Sliced strawberries
Chocolate-covered goji berries 
Hemp seeds 
Grain-free granola (or your choice of granola)

Instructions:

1. Toast the gluten-free bread.
2. Spread almond butter and a layer of Harmless Harvest Dairy-Free Cup Yogurt Alternative.
3. Top with sliced fruit, chocolate-covered goji berries, hemp seeds, and granola.
4. Enjoy!
