The less energy I have to waste on tedious tasks like unpacking and repacking, the more quality time I have to spend with my kids or simply relax. Years ago, Kim taught me to always keep toiletry bags packed so when you’re prepping for a trip, it’s one less thing to think about. This efficient advice is great for anyone, but especially helpful for moms who are busy and have a million things on their to-do list before leaving for the airport. Here is how I’ve adopted the pre-packing idea. For things I use every day and would want to travel with, I get duplicates of. This way, my travel sets stay complete. I keep three bags totally ready so I can just grab and go: one for my carry-on with my in-flight essentials, one full of makeup that I put in my large suitcase, and a toiletry case I also check with my luggage.
