Kourtney’s Matcha Latte Recipe

Aside from being a source of caffeine (sans the jitters), matcha green tea has powerful mind, body, and beauty benefits like fighting inflammation and aging (thanks to high antioxidant levels). And it has been shown to enhance fat loss when combined with exercise.

Want a yummy way to add the green powder into your daily routine? Below we’re sharing exactly how Kourtney makes her matcha tea latte at home.

Kourtney’s Matcha Latte

Ingredients:

1/2 teaspoon matcha
2 cups of almond milk
2 dashes of cinnamon
2 pinches of pink Himalayan sea salt
1/4 cup organic maple syrup

Instructions:

1. Boil milk.
2. In a separate pot or electric kettle, heat water to 170°F. No thermometer? Bring to a boil, then let cool for 3–5 minutes.
3. Sift matcha into a bowl.
4. Add water to the matcha and whisk until foamy.
5. Add milk, salt, cinnamon, and syrup and whisk again.
6. Pour into Kourtney’s favorite double-wall mug and enjoy!
