As we’ve already shared, during Kourt’s sessions, they break down the routine into quarters so that the sets feel more achievable. It’s a simple way to get through a tough workout. Today’s full-body toning sequence is no different. Below, Coach Don provided the details for Kourt’s recent summer rotation to tone it up.
The Routine:
To start: 2 min incline sprint
1ST QUARTER:
30 barbell squats
2 min incline sprint
30 barbell back rows
2 min incline sprint
2ND QUARTER:
30 dumbbell step back lunges (alternating legs)
2 min incline sprint
30 seated dumbbell rows
2 min incline sprint
3RD QUARTER:
30 barbell deadlifts
2 min incline sprint
30 barbell chest presses
2 min incline sprint
4TH QUARTER:
30 dumbbell seated squats into biceps curls
2 min incline sprint
30 incline close-grip dumbbell triceps presses
2 min incline sprint
OVERTIME (Bonus Round):
30 barbell step back lunges on box
2 min incline sprint
30 medicine ball overhead toss sit-ups
2 min incline sprint
