Angled Chest Pulldown
Instead of sitting upright and focusing all of the resistance on your lats, lean back in your seat so that your core is engaged. It’s impossible to pull straight back at this angle, so you’ll pull towards your chest. This engages your back muscles, doesn’t burn out your shoulders, and engages the chest for some perky activation.
Boat Bench Press
Although you can use free weights, we recommend doing this exercise on a machine like Kim’s for safety. It’s essentially a bench press on ‘roids for your abs. Bring your feet up into a balanced boat pose, activating your lower abs. Press the bar up as you come into a crunch. It’s all a part of full-body exercise, baby.

If you’ve ever been afraid of the battle ropes at the gym, this is your sign to get over it. These heavy ropes are great for building strength and stamina and burning major calories.
For the first move, start in a low squat and open your arms, bringing them out wide and then back together. Stay low in your squat the entire time, keeping your knees over your ankles and your spine straight. Do it for 30 to 60 seconds or until fatigued.

In the same squat position, alternate whipping the ropes up and down, slamming them onto the ground and lifting back up for a wave-like motion. Do it for 30 to 60 seconds or until fatigued.
