From learning how to be a boss with Kris to how to manage it all and multitask thanks to Kim walking us through her daily routine, Kourt’s family has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share. Oh, and let’s not forget Khloé’s beast mode playlist that’ll give you the motivation to get through the toughest of workouts. Well, we’re adding to the list of Kardashian/Jenner knowledge with Kris and the sisters’ beauty hacks. The more you know, the better, and there’s nothing we love more than a time-saving and efficient hack—especially when it comes from women who know beauty and skincare best.
“Double washing my body in the shower. I wash my body while conditioning my hair and then rinse it out and then wash my body again using a special body wash from my dermatologist.
I also use face creams that I don’t love on my body as a moisturizer so I’m not being wasteful of the products.
When I’m getting ready for a big night out, I apply these gel patches (which I always keep in the fridge) under my eyes for at least five minutes prior to putting on any makeup.” Kourt also recently started using this vibrating skincare tool to help sculpt her face.
“To fix broken makeup: If you shattered one of your bronzers, eye shadows, or really any makeup, do not toss out. Gather up the broken makeup and put it back into its container. Crush up any pieces that haven’t completely broken up yet. Add a couple drops of rubbing alcohol to the crushed makeup. Use your finger, the back of a spoon, or anything, really, to rub and smooth out the alcohol and the makeup. Leave overnight. When you wake up in the morning, your makeup will be good as new and there will be no alcohol smell.
For an at-home hair mask: You can use really any oil that you have in your pantry cabinet. Olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, etc. Do this to infuse moisture and shine back into your over-processed hair. Heat up the oil for about 10 seconds or so, until it’s warm but not hot. Apply the warm oil to your hair, then put on your Aquis x Poosh towel wrap and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Wash your hair as usual, maybe an extra shampoo to get the oils out. DONE.
To enhance lash growth: Use olive oil or vitamin E in place of pricey lash-lengthening treatments. Olive oil or vitamin E acts as a conditioner to help your lashes grow strong and healthy. Use a clean spoolie or a cotton swab when applying, and you should see changes in a month or two.
For an at-home body scrub: Use brown sugar and honey as a natural and inexpensive exfoliant.
In-store shopping hack: Check the bottom shelves at the store. Products that are more expensive go at eye level.
For an at-home lip plumper: Mix a bit of peppermint into your lip gloss to give a plumping effect.
Instead of shaving cream, use conditioner or coconut oil. It’s way more hydrating and does the trick.”
“Wash your face every night using a hot terry cloth washcloth. It acts as a natural exfoliant by loosening dead skin cells, opens up the pores, and softens the skin, prepping it for your night treatments.
Make sure you get a new toothbrush every three weeks to support dental health. Your mouth is like the holy grail of your body, and it’s so important to take care of your teeth. Don’t forget to floss every night.”
“I love overlining my lips with a darker lip liner.”
“Travel with your own pillowcase.” This will help avoid breakouts while on your trip and give you peace of mind knowing you’re resting your face on clean cases.
“To make a spray tan last longer, moisturize with body lotion every day—my Kylie Skin Body Lotion is my go-to.”
