You’ve seen this year’s 12 Days of Pooshmas mailer, but now we have to talk about how we wrapped all of it. We always try to be eco-friendly, so we got creative when it came to packaging. We reached out to Mary Domo and her team at Los Angeles Gift Wrapping to help us get the job done.
Each gift was wrapped with love and carefully packaged. Mary also made sure that all materials adhered to the sustainability guidelines that Kourtney and Poosh set for the mailer.
Fun facts: Mary’s team consisted of all women who come from all walks of life. It was such an amazing experience to be surrounded by inspiring women who have made their own way in the industry. Listening to their stories of hustling to be where they are now made me hopeful that this mailer would be our best one yet!
Mary had each wrapper “audition” by wrapping in front of her to ensure their skills were up to the task. Although she has her own studio, Mary was able to meet us and wrap on-site for weeks leading up to the delivery of the mailer. With her team, we wrapped 1,600 gifts. And we couldn’t have done it without them.
Steele Large Black Canvas Storage Bin
Tall Black Canvas Storage Bin
To carry all 75lbs (!) of the mailer, we used Steele’s canvas totes in both large and tall. These bad boys are durable—we can happily report that they withstood the transit and delivery process all over over the country. They’re also excellent for storage or laundry. And when not in use, they easily fold up and store away.
Vintage Trees/Stars single large 28" Wrap
Bright Red X-Large 36" Fabric Gift Wrap
100% Cotton Reusable Reversible Fabric Gift Bag - Medium
Instead of traditional wrapping paper, we opted for Shiki Wrap, a reusable, stretchy fabric made from recycled plastic. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of using furoshiki, or fabric, to wrap goods, Shiki Wrap is meant to be reused for gifting. The brand’s founder, Meagan Downey, even traveled to LA to deliver extra wraps and share her techniques with the team for the mailer. Each swath was a different holiday color or print that can be used for this holiday season and beyond.
Feast Tea Towel
Thistle Farms is a nonprofit that gives vulnerable women access to safe and supportive housing, meaningful employment, and a lifelong community of support. We wrapped the Visp Elixir Mix in Thistle Farm’s handmade tea towel. They also operate a café and gift shop in Nashville, where they sell apothecary goods like candles and room sprays. If you’re not in the area, don’t worry. You can buy online too.

5 Piece Block Print Packing Cube Set
Mark & Graham
Mark & Graham’s packing cube sets were a gift within a gift for our mailer. We used the set to wrap five different gifts, but each cube can be reused for travel. The set includes three packing cubes in different sizes, one fabric bag for shoes, and one for laundry.
Needlepoint Personalized Christmas Stocking
Kourt and her family love a needlepoint stocking, so each mailer came with one personalized by Lands’ End, filled with SmartSweets candy. It’s a sweet holiday addition to any mantle that will hopefully spark some new family traditions.
Biodegradable White Star Shaped Packaging
Instead of traditional packing peanuts, which are made from non-biodegradable styrofoam, we filled the Steele totes with star-shaped peanuts made from biodegradable starch that can even melt in water. Better for the environment and cute? A win-win.
Cream City Ribbon
Cream City Ribbon sent us an assortment of biodegradable, cheery holiday ribbons that we used to tie each “Day of Pooshmas” tag to all 1,600 gifts. These ribbons are not only eco-friendly, but they also easily curl and split apart to become multiple strands of ribbon.

The Company Store
Rifle Paper Co.
The Company Story and The Rifle Paper Co. created the perfect holiday vibes for our 12 Days of Pooshas shoot with festive decor including felt and quilted tree skirts, seasonal mugs, and colorful ornaments. We were able to re-use and gift these items to the Poosh team to add some extra holiday touches to their homes.
