Hi Pooshies, Virg here again with another super simple (and healthy) recipe idea for you. Today, I’m making a case for you to finally purchase an air fryer—if you haven’t already! In my opinion, everyone needs an air fryer. The kitchen device makes it incredibly easy to whip together meals, snacks, and more. Truly, the sky is the limit once you get the hang of using it.
To kickoff Poosh’s first air fryer recipe, I’m sharing how to make one of my favorite snacks, flavored chickpeas. It only requires three ingredients and 30 minutes (max) of your time. The best part is you can change up the recipe and season them with your preferred flavored powder (salt and pepper, garlic powder, ranch, or white cheddar. I personally do buffalo ranch). Air Fryer Flavored Chickpeas
Dietary Info:Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, High Protein
Serving Size:1 can
Prep Time:5 mins
Cook Time:20 mins
Total Time:25 mins
15 oz can of garbanzo beans
Olive oil (to toss)
Your favorite powdered seasoning (salt, garlic powder, ranch, buffalo-ranch, etc)
1. Rinse a 15 oz can of garbanzo beans under cold water.
2. Strain and toss in the air fryer for about 20 min on high. (The beauty of the air fryer is that you can keep on pulling them open and tossing the beans. You can leave them a little longer if you want them crispy.)
3. When they are done, toss in a tiny bit of olive oil and top with your favorite seasoning.
4. Let them cool and enjoy!
