From refreshing spirits and blended drinks to frozen cocktails and flavorful tinis, with the help of celebrity chef (and friend of the family) Sara Motamedi, we’re sharing four recipes to add to your summer beverage menu. Whether you’re enjoying a Zoom happy hour (those are still a thing, right?) or hosting a social-distanced and safely spaced outdoor cookout with your family, show off your mixology craft with these bright (and boozy) options.
The Hollywood Red
Recipe Type:Beverage

Total Time:10 minutes
Ingredients:
4 cups fresh red cherries
2 cups pomegranate seeds
4 tablespoons lemon juice
4 shots of alcohol (vodka or tequila)
Instructions:
Take out the pits of the cherries and rinse. Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend well. When ready to serve, pour into glasses. Garnish with a couple cherries and enjoy!
The Coco Pi

Ingredients:
4 cups papaya
4 cups coconut water
4 teaspoons palm sugar
4 shots of Bacardi
Instructions:
Slice up previously washed papaya into smaller pieces for an easier blend. Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend well. When ready to serve, pour into glasses. Garnish with a piece of papaya or shredded coconut flakes and enjoy!
The Bali C

Ingredients:
Kaffir lime leaves
2 cups lychee or lychee juice
8 kumquats
Key lime, peeled
4 shots of alcohol (vodka or tequila)
Instructions:
Wash and rinse kaffir leaves, kumquats, and key lime. Cut the kumquats in half. Peel the key lime. Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend well. When ready to serve, pour into a glass. Garnish the drink with lemongrass and kaffir leaf and enjoy!
Aloe Tini
Recipe Type:Beverage
Serving Size:4 servings

Total Time:10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup cucumber
4 tablespoons aloe vera
4 tablespoon cactus
4 tablespoon lemon juice
Pinch of Himalayan salt
2 cups water
4 shots of alcohol of choice (vodka, gin, or tequila)
Instructions:
Slice the previously washed cucumber and cactus into small pieces for an easier blend. Take a few lemons and squeeze out the juice. Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend well. Pour into a glass, garnish with aloe vera or flower, and enjoy!
