“We’ve all been seeing the rise of ‘balletcore’ over the past year, and the ballet flat is here for fall paired with jeans or a skirt. I’ve loved the masculine look of a loafer over the past few seasons, but I feel like the ballet flat is a fresh and feminine take. Miu Miu, Alaia (Kourt wears), and Sandy Liang have elevated the trend, but I also love a classic Repetto.”
