This one is for anyone who “can’t” cook (raises hand). Mornings are busy—you have your a.m. ritual, which hopefully includes scheduled “me” time and time away from your phone before you dive into your inbox. So prepping a time-consuming breakfast typically isn’t in the cards (save that for the weekend). 

To make sure you’re starting your day with a nutritious meal, we’re sharing five simple recipes you can create in under 10 minutes. It gets better—each idea uses ingredients you most likely already have in your kitchen. We’re all for making it easy to incorporate healthy choices throughout the day, and your morning routine is where mind and body wellness starts. Read on for five incredibly simple breakfast recipes. 

The Supreme Avocado Toast

Total Time:7 mins

Ingredients: 

Toast
Avocado
Eggs
EVOO
Your choice of seasoning/spices 

Instructions: 

1. Toast bread while the eggs are cooking (scrambled or over easy). 
2. Add sliced avocado to toasted bread and top with egg. 
3. Drizzle olive oil and your choice of seasoning and spices.
4. Enjoy!

Loaded Peanut Butter Toast

Ingredients: 

Toast
Peanut butter (or your choice of nut butter)
Hard-boiled egg 
Honey *optional

Instructions: 

1. On a toasted slice of bread, spread a generous amount of peanut butter.
2. Slice hard-boiled egg and add to peanut butter toast (you can buy the packaged hard-boiled eggs to save time). 
3. Drizzle with honey if you’d like. 
4. Enjoy!

Chocolate Green Smoothie

Ingredients: 

1 banana
1 cup fresh almond milk
1 big handful spinach
2 dates
1 big cup of ice
1 heaping scoop chocolate protein powder
1 tablespoon MCT oil
1 packet E3live
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 teaspoon bee pollen
5 shakes cinnamon
2 shakes cardamom
*note the supplements are optional

Instructions: 

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
2. Enjoy!

Leftover Egg Scramble

Ingredients: 

2 eggs 
Whatever leftover protein you have in the fridge (you can even use your leftover protein from carryout, we’re not judging) 
Dairy-free cheese *optional
Handful of spinach 
Cherry tomatoes
Your choice of seasoning and spices

Instructions: 

1. Sauté spinach and tomatoes for 2-3 minutes.
2. Crack eggs and pour into pan with veggies 
3. Mix until cooked while adding in cheese and seasoning.
4. Enjoy!
