Fall is a time for bad squash puns and everything cozy—and an integral part of reaching peak cozy is the way our home smells. In lieu of lighting candles, we’ve been making simmer pots. It’s super easy; all we have to do is simmer some herbs and spices on the stovetop. Below, we’re sharing one of our favorite simmer pot recipes. It fills our home with a spicy, comforting scent that makes everyone exclaim, “Oh my gourd!” Plus, it can also be drunk as tea.
