Relaxing Mind Detox Bath
What you’ll need:
2 cups Epsom salt
10 drops lavender essential oil
1/2 cup baking soda
Soaking your body in a detox bath can flush out toxins, reduce stress hormones, and balance your pH levels. Talk about feeding three birds with one scone. Add this to your list of to-dos during your next self-care Sunday. Directions: once a week, hop in the bath for 20 minutes with a handful of Epsom salt, 10 drops of lavender essential oil, and half a cup of baking soda.
Rejuvenating Skin Detox Bath
What you’ll need:
2 cups Epsom salt
2 cups apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons ginger powder
1/4 cup baking soda
Apple cider vinegar has its benefits when applied topically as well. Known for relieving common skin problems, ACV is a natural anti-inflammatory while also killing bacteria and yeast on your skin. Additionally, vinegar contains properties that are found in medications such as aspirin, helping to restore pH balance and reduce pain. Directions: add all ingredients to the tub and soak for up to 20 minutes.
Revitalizing Body Detox Bath
What you’ll need:
2 cups Epsom salt
10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
1/4 cup baking soda
With the seasons changing, it’s easy to get under the weather. Directions: the next time you feel a cold coming on, try adding two cups of Epsom salt to your running bath along with 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil or any type of respiratory blend (just don’t mix the two).
