How to Make BROCCOLI CHICKEN PATTIES

Looking for another healthy dinner or lunch recipe that’s filling enough to count as a full meal? Enter my chicken patties with broccoli, green onions, and mozzarella. These patties can be cooked in a pan or oven. I usually double this recipe so I can have patties for a few days. I also mix the ingredients and leave it “uncooked” in my fridge—that way every time I want to eat some, it’s ready to go. All I have to do is throw it on a pan, and it’s still fresh and juicy. Once it’s cooked, pair with some tzatziki, hummus, and ketchup on a burger bun, or plain in a lettuce wrap! Learn the step-by-step instructions for the light and healthy dish below.

Broccoli Chicken Patties

Serving Size:5-6 patties depending on size
Prep Time:10 mins
Cook Time:10-15 mins
Total Time:20-25 mins

Ingredients:

1 lb ground chicken
1 head of broccoli, grated (I put it in a food processor)
3 green onions
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1 cup panko crumbs (or almond flour or nothing)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions:

1. Mix all ingredients by hand and form the desired size patty.
2. Cook on a pan until browned on both sides.
