Dirty mouth? Grab a tongue scraper. You brush, you floss, you whiten … but when was the last time you took a tongue scraper to your mouth? If you answered never, let today be the day that changes.
We’ve already shared why you should add oil pulling into your oral care routine and the proper way to do it according to a dentist. Today we’re adding to the list with another Ayurvedic ritual: tongue scraping.
The benefits:
• Reduces bad breath
• Enhances tastebuds
• Improves overall oral hygiene
• Boosts immunity
• Improves digestion
• Restores the natural color of the tongue
How to:
Begin with the curved part at the back of your tongue and scrape forward. Do this around seven times and rinse in between each scrape.
To clean the stainless steel and plastic-free scraper, simply wash with warm water and natural soap and pat dry.
Update your oral care routine with more clean and green options.
