Let’s face it, most days are hectic, and the days often just fly by, but that’s no excuse to skip a meal or end up snacking on week-old pretzels that you find in your kid’s car seat. This early morning or midday smoothie is so satisfying and chock-full of nutrients, healthy fats, and protein, it can hold you over for hours, and it only takes two minutes to make. It is great on the go—just throw it in one of your reusable to-go cups. Most importantly, it also curbs cravings and satiates hunger, and because it’s so rich in antioxidants (spinach and blueberries), it can help neutralize free radicals in our bodies, boosting overall health. An added bonus—the kids love it, too.

Add the below ingredients into a blender:

Ingredients:

1-1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup blueberries
2 cups organic spinach
1-2 dates (remove pit)
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
1/2 ripe avocado
1/2 frozen banana
1 tablespoon organic unsweetened peanut butter
1 handful ice

Instructions:

1. Add almond milk to a blender.
2. Add remaining ingredients.
3. Blend until a smooth, creamy consistency.
4. Pour into two cups and enjoy with your reusable straw.
