Meet Narbeh Babakhani, a Poosh superfan and longtime Kardashian follower (his grandma met Khloé at prom in an episode of KUWTK). Narbeh so kindly agreed to share an Armenian family recipe with us on how to make dolmas three different ways (grape leaves dolma, cabbage dolma, and veggie dolma). He spent the day with this grandmother prepping the tutorial and shooting photos so our community could see a peek inside the tradition and learn how to make the delicious and flavorful dish.
Hasmik’s Dolma (3 different ways): Grape Leaves Dolma, Cabbage Dolma, and Veggie Dolma

Ingredients:
3 packs of green onions
3 packs of cilantro
3 packs of Italian parsley
3 packs of dill
1 garlic clove
1 cup rice
1 cup olive or vegetable oil
2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons curry powder
2 tablespoons turmeric
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 large cabbages
3 lbs of grape leaves
4 medium-sized eggplants
3 zucchinis
4 tomatoes
2 red bell peppers
2 green bell peppers
Instructions:
1. Boil the cabbage carefully, letting the cabbage slowly tear open. Then, with a fork, grab each layer of cabbage as it separates in the pot.
2. Let the cabbage cool down in a separate bowl for about 30 minutes.
3. In the meantime, cut, clean, and rinse all greens (parsley, cilantro, onion, and dill) in one huge colander.
4. Dump the greens on a clean towel and let them dry.
5. As the greens dry and the cabbage cools down, boil a cup of rice.
6. Once the greens have dried, shave the garlic and chop all the greens and veggies. My grandma does it by hand, but there machines that will do it for you.
7. In a huge bowl, add all the chopped greens, shaved garlic, rice, and all spices, and then mix them all together. Roll the mixture in either grape leaves, cabbage, or veggies. All three ways are shown below.
8. Top the cabbage dolmas with tomato paste.
9. Lastly, put the dolmas on the stove and cook them for 25-30 minutes.
